Caroline D. Bar Joins Post & Schell as a Principal in the Firm's Professional Liability Department

Philadelphia, PA – February 14, 2022 – Post & Schell, P.C. is pleased to announce that Caroline D. Bar has joined the firm as a Principal in the firm’s Professional Liability Department and Medical Malpractice Defense Practice Group. Ms. Bar is resident in the firm’s Philadelphia, PA office.

Ms. Bar returns to Post & Schell, where she began her law firm career in 2007 as an Associate in the Professional Liability Department. After five years at Post & Schell, she served as a Senior Associate with Christie & Young PC and Locks Law Firm. She began her legal career as an Assistant Defender with the Defender Association of Philadelphia.

Ms. Bar’s practice focuses on counseling and defending healthcare systems, hospitals, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers in complex professional liability cases involving allegations of catastrophic injuries with significant liability and damage exposure. She defends clients at trial and in arbitrations and mediations, handling all aspects of litigation from the inception of the case through trial preparation and settlement negotiations. Ms. Bar is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for New Jersey, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Bar graduated with Honors from The George Washington University Law School in 2003 and holds her B.S. degree from Cornell University. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations and served as a volunteer attorney for the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Advancing Civics Education (ACE) Program. Ms. Bar also served as a volunteer attorney for the Pennsylvania Innocence Project and Support Center for Child Advocates.
