Lindsay A. Berkstresser Appointed to the Board of the Women's Energy Network's Washington, DC Chapter

Harrisburg, PA – January 23, 2023 – Post & Schell, P.C. is pleased to announce that Lindsay A. Berkstresser, a Principal in the firm’s Energy & Utilities Practice Group, has been appointed a member of the Board of Directors for the Women’s Energy Network’s (WEN) Washington, DC chapter. 

The Women’s Energy Network is a global 501(c)(6) nonprofit business organization of professionals who work across the energy value chain. WEN’s vision is to be the premier global organization that educates, attracts, retains and develops professionals working in energy. The organization’s mission is to provide networking opportunities and foster the career and leadership development of women who work in the energy industries.

Ms. Berkstresser focuses her practice on representing energy companies in regulatory matters arising under federal and state laws before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PAPUC) and appellate courts. She counsels natural gas, electric and water utilities, and oil pipeline companies on ratemaking, energy project siting and development, tariff and contract provisions, administrative litigation, and transactional matters. She also advises clients on regulatory compliance issues and newly enacted and pending legislation.

In 2021, Ms. Berkstresser was named by Central Penn Business Journal to its "Women to Watch" list as part of its annual Women of Influence Awards. In 2022, she was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star in the category of Energy & Resources. She served as the past-Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s (PBA) Public Utility Law Section and is also a member of the PBA’s Environmental and Energy Law Section, the Shale Energy Law Committee, and the American Bar Association’s Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources.
