Bio
Anthony M. Knapp is a Principal in the firm's Casualty Litigation Department, representing clients in dram shop, products, and premises liability matters. His clients include self-insured individuals and businesses, multi-line insurers and third-party administrators (TPAs) sued for civil damages associated with: an alleged defective product; alleged over-service of alcoholic beverages to a patron at a bar or restaurant; or an assault, fall, or significant injury-causing event on a client property.
The Best Lawyers in America™ recognized Mr. Knapp in its 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 editions in the "Ones to Watch" category in the area of Product Liability Litigation - Defendants. In 2022, he was named as a member of The Legal Intelligencer's Young Lawyer Editorial Board. In 2024, Mr. Knapp was named by his peers as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star in the category of Products Defense. Prior to joining Post & Schell, Mr. Knapp was an attorney with a regional personal injury firm. His experience includes drafting and reviewing pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and pre-trial documents. He also served as a legal intern to the General Counsel of a large, regional health system.

Representative Cases
- Secured defense verdict in binding arbitration on behalf of a client who struck a pedestrian in the roadway while traveling at 45 mph, resulting in catastrophic injuries. There was a policy limit settlement demand prior to the parties agreeing to submit to binding arbitration.
