Caitlin A. Donahue is an Associate in the firm's Employment & Labor Practice Group and its related sub-groups, Employment and Collective Class Actions, Employment & Employee Relations, Labor, Trade Secret & Non-Compete Law, and Wage and Hour. She counsels employers of all sizes in multiple industries on compliance with local, state, and federal employment and labor laws and defends them in related federal and state court litigation.
In her counseling practice, Ms. Donahue advises employers proactively on employment and labor law compliance within their organizations. This includes audits and reviews of wage and hour and pay practices, drafting employee and executive agreements, drafting employee manuals, employee and manager training, and guidance on policy changes related to new laws and regulations. In her litigation practice, she defends employers in matters involving the Americans with Disability Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), among others.
In 2023 and 2024, Ms. Donahue was named to Super Lawyers' "Rising Stars" in the category of Employment and Labor. The Best Lawyers in America™ recognized Ms. Donahue in its 2025 edition in the "Ones to Watch" category in the area of Litigation - Labor and Employment. Ms. Donahue is the former chair of the Labor and Employment Section of the Lancaster County Bar Association, a member of the Women in the Profession Commission with the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and a member of the American Bar Association. She also serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of The Mix, an organization with a mission to develop youth and families to be leaders of and within thriving communities, and is a member of Lancaster Young Professionals.
Prior to joining Post & Schell, Ms. Donahue served as an Associate in the Employment practice of a large, regional law firm. She also interned with the Governor's Office of General Counsel, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency, while in law school.
Ms. Donahue is a 2019 cum laude graduate of Widener University Commonwealth Law School. and graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and Government from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
