Caroline D. Bar is a Principal in the firm's Professional Liability Department and Medical Malpractice Defense Practice Group. She defends and counsels healthcare systems, hospitals, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers in complex professional liability cases involving allegations of catastrophic injuries with significant liability and damage exposure.
An experienced litigator, Ms. Bar defends clients at trial and in arbitrations and mediations, handling all aspects of litigation from the inception of the case through trial preparation and settlement negotiations.
Prior to joining Post & Schell, Ms. Bar represented clients in medical malpractice and other complex civil litigation matters for over 15 years, including five years as an Associate with Post & Schell. She also served as an Assistant Defender for the Defender Association of Philadelphia, where she represented indigent clients in criminal matters in Philadelphia Municipal Court and the Court of Common Pleas.
