Christian M. Scheuerman is a Principal in the firm's Professional Liability and Casualty Litigation Departments. He represents clients in civil litigation, including claims involving medical malpractice, professional liability, and Directors & Officers (D&O) liability, as well as premises liability, and products liability matters. His clients include medical providers, hospitals, and health systems, and professional services, as well as manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and retail companies.
With substantial first chair experience, Mr. Scheuerman's litigation-based practice includes trial, arbitration, and mediation experience in both state and federal courts. He is actively involved in each aspect of his clients’ cases, including preparing pleadings; responding to written discovery; arguing discovery, dispositive, and pre-trial motions; deposing witnesses; preparing medical providers for depositions; preparing witnesses and parties for arbitration and trial testimony; developing case defenses with medical experts; trial preparation; and settlement negotiations.
Mr. Scheuerman is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He graduated from the Colgate University in 2002, with a B.A. degree in History. He then attended Vermont Law School, graduating magna cum laude and tenth in the class in 2007. During law school, he was awarded a Dean’s Scholarship.
