Bio
John Croumer is a Principal in the Firm's Casualty Litigation Department. Mr. Croumer’s practice focuses on casualty litigation, representing both individual and commercial clients.
As a member of the Firm’s Liquor Liability Practice Group, Mr. Croumer frequently represents bars, restaurants, clubs, fraternal organizations, and individuals in liquor liability matters throughout Pennsylvania. In addition, Mr. Croumer works with the Firm's Business Law and Litigation Department to protect the commercial interests of entities such as health systems and non-profit organizations and the Firm's Workers’ Compensation Department to enforce and resolve employer/carrier subrogation interests.
Prior to joining Post & Schell, P.C., Mr. Croumer clerked for a civil litigation firm where he gained experience in all stages of litigation, from client counseling to settlement negotiations and trial. Mr. Croumer's educational background in finance and marketing allows him to effectively serve business and professional clients.
Mr. Croumer manages all phases of litigation, including initial investigation, pre-complaint resolution, discovery, motions practice, depositions, and trial.

- Serves clients emergently, responding to catastrophic losses immediately to coordinate post-accident investigation
- First Chair litigation before Magisterial District Courts throughout Pennsylvania to defense verdict
- Utilization of ADR, including mediation, to obtain resolution favorable to clients
Numerous cases dismissed prior to trial, including:
- Contested Summary Judgment granted in catastrophic injury claim venued in Philadelphia County where demand was $3.5 million
- Contested Summary Judgment granted in property damage claim venued in Cumberland County where demand was more than $2 million
- Contested Summary Judgment granted in wrongful death and survival claim venued in Lancaster County where demand was policy limits of $1 million
- Contested Petition to Strike Judgment granted in premises liability claim venued in Philadelphia County dismissing $275,000 judgment entered against client
- Premises liability claim venued in Snyder County resolved for $7,500.00 pending Motion for Summary Judgment where demand was $150,000
