Raymond Escobar is an Associate in the firm's Professional Liability Department and Medical Malpractice Defense Practice Group. He counsels and defends healthcare providers, including hospitals, health systems, physicians, physician assistants, and nurses, in matters involving alleged medical malpractice and substantial financial risk.
Prior to joining Post & Schell, Mr. Escobar was an Associate with a regional law firm where he defended clients in insurance defense and medical malpractice defense. He also served as an Assistant District Attorney with the District Attorney's Office in Asheville, NC.
Mr. Escobar is a graduate of Washington & Lee University School of Law and holds his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
