Barbara Rowland Elected to the Board of Directors of the American Society for Pharmacy Law for 2017-18


Philadelphia, PA – September 20, 2017 – Post & Schell is pleased to announce that Principal Barbara Rowland has been elected to the Board of Directors of the American Society for Pharmacy Law (ASPL) for 2017-18. Ms. Rowland, Washington, D.C. Office Chair of the Firm’s Internal Investigations & White Collar Defense Practice Group, will be sworn in as a Director at ASPL’s Annual Developments in Pharmacy Law Seminar, held November 2–5, 2017, in Scottsdale, AZ.

ASPL is a nonprofit organization of attorneys, pharmacists, pharmacist-attorneys, and students of pharmacy or law who are interested in the law as it applies to pharmacy, pharmacists, wholesalers, manufacturers, state and federal government, and other interested parties.  The organization’s Board of Directors is comprised of individuals from the pharmaceutical, health care, and pharmacy industries, private practice, academia, and government.

Ms. Rowland represents pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers and distributors, retail pharmacies, pharmacy benefit managers, and health care providers, among others, in internal investigations and counsels clients subject to government investigation, represents executives, managers, and employees in such investigations, and defends clients in related litigation and at trial. Ms. Rowland is a former Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for CVS Health and Assistant Counsel for Merck & Co., Inc.
