Heather K. D'Onofrio Rejoins Post & Schell as a Principal in the Firm's Professional Liability Department
Philadelphia, PA – February 29, 2024 – Post & Schell, P.C. is pleased to announce that Heather K. D’Onofrio has rejoined the firm as a Principal in its Professional Liability Department and Medical Malpractice Litigation Practice Group.
Ms. D’Onofrio previously served as an Associate in Post & Schell’s Professional Liability Department from 2003 through 2012. She spent several years as owner and partner at The D’Onofrio Firm, where she practiced alongside her husband, and rejoins Post & Schell from the law firm of Youman & Caputo, LLC.

Ms. D'Onofrio is a seasoned litigator with over 20 years of experience successfully representing both plaintiffs and defendants in professional liability, medical malpractice, and catastrophic injury litigation in the Philadelphia region. She focuses her practice on the defense of health care providers and medical professionals in matters involving alleged malpractice, catastrophic injuries, and significant financial exposure. Her clients include physicians, nurses, pharmacists, hospitals, and health systems.

From 2019 to present Ms. D’Onofrio has been named a “Pennsylvania Super Lawyer” and was selected as a "Pennsylvania Rising Star" (for top attorneys in Pennsylvania under the age of 40) from 2011 through 2017. She is a 2003, magna cum laude graduate from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law and holds her B.A. degree from Bloomsburg University.
