Ian Baxter and Kevin McGarry Present on the Legal Implications of Distracted Driving at IAIP 2018 PA Council Day on Oct. 20

On October 20, 2018, Casualty Associates Ian T. Baxter and Kevin T. McGarry presented, "Focused Claims Handling for Distracted Driving," at the International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP) 2018 PA Council Day in Washington, PA.

The presentation was a primer on trends in automobile law, accident investigation, and best practices for risk managers, business owners, and claims handlers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Mr. Baxter and Mr. McGarry examined the motor vehicle laws in each state, dram shop/liquor liablity issues, distracted driving and texting specific laws, and claims handling and litigation related best practices.
