Jim Malone Serves as a Panelist Discussing Tax Issues Related to Estate Planning for Solo Practitioners at Philadelphia Bar Association Event on Oct. 17
On October 17, 2019, James R. Malone, Jr. served on the panel presentation, “Estate Planning for the Solo Practitioner: How to Plan During Your Lifetime and How to Administer a Practice upon Death,” at the Quarterly Meeting of the Probate Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
Mr. Malone addressed some of the tax problems that an executor may face in closing out a solo or small firm practice, as well as the solo or small firm lawyer’s obligation under the Rules of Professional Conduct to establish a plan to address client needs in the event of disability or death.
