Kate Kleba Presents on Pleadings and Motion Court Practice in Temple Law CLE on Feb. 16

On February 16, 2018, Employment Principal Kate A. Kleba presented at Temple University Beasley School of Law's CLE program, "My First Federal Civil Trial," at 9:00 am ET.

The handling of a lawsuit in federal court is much different than state court practice. Not only are the stakes usually much higher but the federal court has its own Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence. This four-credit program provided the practitioner with hands-on and practical advice on how to handle a federal lawsuit from the filing of the first pleading to the trial of the case. Ms. Kleba's portion of the presentation focused on pleadings and motion court practice, along with other sections taught by federal court judges, the Clerk of the Court, and practitioners with vast experience in this arena.
