

Lindsay Berkstresser Elected Chair of Pennsylvania Bar Association's Public Utility Law Section
Harrisburg, PA – August 19, 2021 – Post & Schell, P.C. is pleased to announce that Energy & Utilities Practice Group Associate Lindsay A. Berkstresser has been elected Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s (PBA) Public Utility Law Section for 2021-2022.
The PBA’s Public Utility Law Section is charged with developing and studying questions related to public utility law in the Commonwealth and the United States. The Section hosts educational programs and networking events throughout the year, including meet and greets with newly appointed Commissioners and lunch and learn programs on topics of interest to public utility law practitioners. Section members have the opportunity to participate in an annual community service event. The Section also tracks legislative updates affecting public utilities.
Ms. Berkstresser's practice focuses on the representation of energy and utility companies in regulatory matters arising under federal and state laws before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PAPUC), and appellate courts. She counsels natural gas, electric and water utilities, and oil pipeline companies on ratemaking, energy project siting and development, tariff and contract provisions, administrative litigation, and transactional matters. She also advises clients on regulatory compliance issues and newly enacted and pending legislation.
