Post & Schell, P.C. Promotes Jessica R. Rogers to Counsel in the Firm’s Energy & Utilities Practice Group
Post & Schell, P.C. is pleased to announce that Jessica R. Rogers has been promoted to Counsel in the Firm’s Energy & Utilities Practice Group in its Washington, DC office.
Ms. Rogers represents major electric and gas utilities, pipelines, and energy companies in state and federal regulatory and transactional matters. She has appeared before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, the Department of State, and the Surface Transportation Board, as well as federal and state appellate courts. Her practice focuses on a variety of matters including base rate proceedings at the state and federal level, purchased gas cost proceedings, transmission siting projects, Presidential permits, and water and wastewater acquisitions.
Ms. Rogers also counsels clients on compliance matters and provides multi-jurisdictional support on a variety of topics including rate of return, rate structure, and alternative ratemaking mechanisms; detailed reviews of federal and state tariffs; advice on pending and newly enacted legislation; and strategic support on discrete operational and regulatory accounting issues.
She is a member of Post & Schell's Diversity and Inclusion Committee and Women of Post & Schell and co-chairs the firm's Summer Intern Program. She is also a member of the Energy Bar Association’s Gas, Oil, and Liquids Committee.
Ms. Rogers holds her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from the University of California Los Angeles with a double major in English and Communications Studies.
