Sanders notes that, "Medicare and Medicaid-certified long- term care facilities and nursing facilities across the country are preparing for an onslaught of federal and state audits. The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Office of Inspector General (OIG) has made no secret of its belief that these…facilities…have been overbilling Medicare."
