Post & Schell's Brian M. Peters Steps Down After 14-Year Tenure as Firm's President & CEO
PHILADELPHIA, PA – January 9, 2015 – Post & Schell, P.C. announced today that Brian M. Peters has stepped down from his long-standing role as President & CEO of the Firm, a position he has held since 2000, from which he continued to build on Post & Schell’s foundation of excellence in client service, expanded and diversified practices, and rebranded the Firm. Mr. Peters, a co-author of two health law treatises, and a Faculty Member of The Governance Institute, will now devote his time fully to his national health care practice.
Michael W. Gang, Chair of the Firm’s Board, and Co-Chair of the Firm’s Energy & Utilities and Marcellus Shale Practice Groups, will be Acting President & CEO until a new leader is elected.
“From both a personal and professional point of view, this is the time for me to entrust the Firm’s leadership to the Board of Directors and the next President & CEO,” said Mr. Peters. “I am ready. I look forward to assisting Firm leadership with the transition, and devoting my full attention and energy to my practice, and continuing to collaborate with attorneys and staff I respect and admire so much.”

In addition to Mr. Gang’s role as Acting President & CEO, the Firm will be governed by a Board of Directors, comprised of leaders from many of the Firm’s core practice groups.
“We have a strong Board to help guide the Firm, and the platform Brian created has positioned us well, both financially and operationally,” Mr. Gang added. “We will continue to assess our mix of practices and opportunities for growth.
