Steve Bloomburg Serves on Faculty for SEAK's 38th Annual National Workers' Compensation and Occupational Medicine Conference on June 20
On June 20, 2018, Workers' Compensation Principal Stephen S. Bloomburg served on the faculty of SEAK’s 38th Annual National Workers’ Compensation and Occupational Medicine Conference in Hyannis, MA. The annual conference is of particular interest to workers' compensation and occupational medicine professionals.
Mr. Bloomburg's presentation, "Investigating and Defending Chronic and Pre-existing Conditions: What Works," focused on best practices for investigating and defending chronic and pre-existing conditions. He explained symptoms v. disease, degenerative conditions, and the worsening of these conditions. He also offered practical suggestions for employers, insurers, and self-insureds for successfully defending these workers’ compensation cases.
