The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Consults Health Care Principal Fran Grabowski on Pa. Governor's Medicaid Proposal
Health Care Principal Mary Frances Grabowski offers her insights to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette regarding Pennsylvania Governor Corbett's proposed conditions for Medicaid expansion in the commonwealth.
In discussing some of the specifics of the proposal, Ms. Grabowski notes that, "both the idea of premiums and the work search requirement will likely generate a significant amount of attention."
She also explains:
"This is something new. Generally, in the past, the federal government has not allowed states to include additional eligibility requirements...but as part of an overall plan to expand health care services, this may be something they agree to."
