On March 14, 2024 at 11:30 pm, Theresa A. Mongiovi and Caitlin A. Donahue presented a BYO lunch and learn presentation on Marijuana in the Workplace to members of the Lancaster chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). The presentation took place at the Workforce Development Board, 1046 Manheim Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601.
The presentation included a summary of both federal and state laws regarding medical marijuana and the current legal status of recreational use in Pennsylvania. The program provided the attendees with an overview of the impact marijuana has on an employment relationship and offered recommendations for compliance, mitigating risk, and fostering a safe work environment.
