Bio
Colleen M. Swiers is an Associate in the firm's Professional Liability Department and Casualty Litigation Department. She defends hospitals, behavioral health facilities, physicians, nurses, and other providers in alleged malpractice litigation involving catastrophic injuries with high financial exposure. She also defends clients in complex litigation involving general liability.
Prior to joining Post & Schell, Ms. Swiers was an Associate with the Class Action and Mass Tort practice of a regional firm. Her experience includes co-chairing a month-long Damages Hearing in district court, questioning over 300 class plaintiffs. She also served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Susan P. Gantman and the Honorable Megan McCarthy King of the Pennsylvania Superior Court and as an intern with the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.
