David A. Hudock is an Associate in the firm's Casualty Litigation Department and Toxic Tort Liability Practice Group. His diverse litigation practice includes counseling and defending clients facing toxic and mass torts, and products liability claims. His clients include individuals and companies in the manufacturing, insurance, automobile, energy, and utilities industries, among others.
He has extensive experience defending clients who either manufacture friction, electrical, or
construction-related products, or through corporate consolidation, are now responsible for the liabilities related to those products. In his mass tort practice, Mr. Hudock served on the national coordinating and trial counsel teams for clients facing thousands of mass tort claims pending in nearly every jurisdiction in the United States.
For over two decades, he acted as the point of contact for his clients, coordinating the day-to-day
litigation events with local counsel across the country related to pleadings, fact, and corporate witness deposition coverage, expert retentions, case analysis, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation. Mr. Hudock's experience allows him to efficiently manage litigation events to reduce client costs and quickly identify cases that may pose a significant trial risk so that the national coordinating counsel team and the client can best focus their efforts and assets where needed.
Mr. Hudock Is active in his community and as a 100% service-disabled veteran, he understands the needs of our nation's servicemen and women and is accredited to prosecute claims before the Veterans Administration (VA). For the last decade, he has been providing pro bono legal assistance to homeless and indigent veterans in pursuit of their VA benefits and mental health care.
Mr. Hudock is also a staunch supporter of the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund, a charity established to honor one of his West Point classmates who was killed during combat In Afghanistan. The nonprofit organization provides educational assistance to the children of our nation's fallen heroes.
