Bio
Meredith Bates is an Associate in the firm's Professional Liability Department and Medical Malpractice Defense Practice Group. She advises and defends clients in the healthcare field, including hospitals, health systems, physicians, and nurses in matters involving alleged medical malpractice.
Prior to joining Post & Schell, PC, Ms. Bates was an associate at a regional firm, where she focused her practice on premises liability, personal injury defense, and medical malpractice defense. Before she began her career in defense law, Ms. Bates was a professional cellist, working for the Opera Philadelphia, Philly Pops, the Pennsylvania Ballet, all in Philadelphia, PA, and also the New World Symphony in Miami Beach, FL.
