R. Joseph (RJ) Hrubiec is an Associate in Post & Schell's Casualty Litigation Practice Group. With over a decade of experience in litigation, RJ focuses his practice on general liability, personal injury, product and premises liability, construction defect, admiralty, and toxic tort matters. Mr. Hrubiec handles litigation matters from initial client contact through discovery, motion practice, expert evaluation, settlement and trial. In Delaware, he has successfully tried cases to verdict in toxic tort and general civil litigation.
Prior to joining Post & Schell, P.C., Mr. Hrubiec has worked at both defense and plaintiff firms in mass tort, civil litigation, corporate litigation, bankruptcy and divorce/family law matters, bringing a unique insight into all aspects of civil litigation. He has managed large caseloads and has appeared as lead counsel in Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland courts, including courts of appeal, supreme courts, and Federal district courts.
During his tenure at Syracuse University School of Law, RJ served first as Music Chair and then as President of the Entertainment & Sports Law Society, where he was also one of the first recipients of the Entertainment & Sports Law Certificate.
