Ryan M. Logan is a Principal in the firm's Construction and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups based in its Wilmington, DE office. He counsels and represents property owners, general contractors, and subcontractors in matters related to construction projects and contracts and related claims and litigation. In addition to contractors, Mr. Logan also handles complex commercial litigation, real estate development and law, contracts and specifications, and transactional matters that frequently arise from his clients’ business pursuits.
Mr. Logan provides counsel on the construction contracting process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts. He also advises on claims avoidance and risk management pre-construction. When disputes do go to litigation or arbitration, Mr. Logan represents clients in state and federal courts, as well as state boards of contract appeals and administrative agencies.
Mr. Logan also represents local, regional, national, and international business clients in commercial disputes in both federal and state courts. He handles cases including, among others, breach of contract, tortious interference with contractual relations, unfair competition, violation of restrictive covenants, misappropriation of trade secrets, and fraud.
Mr. Logan is also a registered patent attorney and has advised clients on intellectual property strategy and portfolio management related to filing and preserving trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets.
In 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2024, Mr. Logan was named by his peers as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star in the category of Construction Litigation. While at Widener University School of Law, he received numerous CALI Excellence for the Future Awards which recognized the student with the highest grade in a specific class. He was also honored with the Outstanding Service Award for demonstrating exemplary service to the law school. In its 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 editions, The Best Lawyers in America© recognized Mr. Logan in its "Ones to Watch" category for Commercial Litigation and Construction Law.
